Islamabad — Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has said that security forces are on high alert and fully prepared to respond to any possible attack.
Speaking to a news agency, Talal Chaudhry stated that whenever Pakistan targets terrorist hideouts in Afghanistan, terrorists react with retaliatory attacks.

He added that recent acts of terrorism strengthen Pakistan’s position that terrorist networks have links inside Afghanistan.
The screening of illegally residing Afghans is continuing without discrimination, during which 20 individuals have been arrested and weapons have been recovered.
The Minister further said that in recent weeks, security forces have successfully foiled several attacks and arrested multiple suspects, including Afghan nationals.
He stated that security agencies have intensified search operations and intelligence-based actions, detaining dozens of terrorists, facilitators, and their accomplices.
Authorities reaffirm that operations will continue to ensure peace and national security.
