Security Forces Kill 12 Terrorists in Intelligence-Based Operation in Kalat

Kalat, Balochistan: The Security forces launched a major intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Kalat district after receiving confirmed reports of the presence of terrorists linked to Fitna-Ul-Hindustan, a group called by official as an Indian-backed proxy network.

As per details of security sources, the operation triggered a fierce exchange of fire, during which 12 terrorists allegedly supported by India were killed. The terrorists were reportedly involved in various terror assaults and acts of disruption across the region.

The Forces recovered a significant collection of weapons, ammunition, and explosive materials from the site, indicating the group’s plans for further attacks. According to the Officials killed militants had been on the radar for their involvement in several recent terror incidents targeting both civilians and security personnel.

The sanitization and clearance operation is currently under way to secure the surrounding areas and eliminate any remaining threats. Official confirmed that counterterrorism actions under operation Azm-e-Istehkam will continue with full momentum.

Law enforcement and security agencies said that their resolve to eradicate terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. The security agencies vowed that foreign-sponsored militancy will be dismantled at its roots. Officials further added that actions under the National Action Plan will be further intensified in the coming days to ensure lasting peace in Balochistan and across the country.
