Saba Qamar has expressed her disliking for Karachi

Karachi: Superstar Saba Qamar has expressed her disliking for Karachi for which she is now facing backlash from Karachiites, she also mentioned her admiration for Ahmad Ali Akbar, praising his “remarkable” portrayal of Sanwal in the drama Sanwal Yaar Piya.

In a candid interview on a Green TV podcast, the Cheekh star discussed her ongoing drama Pamaal, revealing that only 15 days of shooting remain. She shared her enthusiasm for the project, saying she wishes filming would never end.

Saba also opened up about her feelings toward Karachi, admitting she doesn’t like Karachi and doesnot enjoy staying in the city and only travels there for work. “If there’s any project in Karachi, please shift it to Islamabad,” she joked, adding that she always accepts projects based in the capital. “The city has a vibe… a mysterious vibe,” she said, ranking her favorite cities as Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi.

On her personal life, Saba said she is focused on entertaining her audience and laughed off questions about marriage. “Marriage and kids happen only when time, the person and destiny align,” she said.

The actress also discussed performing romantic scenes, admitting that while romance can be awkward at first, “chemistry and comfort are key to making the scenes believable.” Fans have praised her on-screen romance with Usman Mukhtar in Pamaal, while her emotional performance in Case No 9 continues to win hearts across Pakistan.
