Amid uncertain situation across the Gulf as the country’s airspace remains closed ,Qatar Airways has extended the temporary suspension of its flights as the country’s airspace remains closed
The airline said flight operations will remain halted until authorities confirm that Qatari airspace has safely reopened.
Qatar Airways added that it is closely monitoring the situation and will resume services once approval is granted by the relevant authorities.
Passengers are advised to check the airline’s official channels for the latest updates on flight schedules and travel advisories.
Qatar Airways limited special flights
Qatar Airways will start operating a limited number of relief flights from 05 March to support passengers who are stranded due to the current situation across the region.
The following services are planned:
- Flights from Muscat to: London Heathrow, Berlin, Copenhagen, Madrid, Rome, and Amsterdam.
- Flight from Riyadh to Frankfurt.
The airways authorities directed Passengers not to proceed to the airport unless they have received an official notification from Qatar Airways for these flights.
Qatar Airways further directed the passengers that the authorities will contact affected passengers directly with their assigned flight details, travel arrangements and next steps.
According to the instructuions of the airways authorities passangers should ensure contact details are up to date so they can reach them with flight information and instructions.
