After water cannons were used by the Punjab Police at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protestors near Adiala jail, the protestors ended the protest and left for their houses. At the same time founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan’s sisters left the protest as well.

Punjab Police used water cannon at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protestors near Adiala jail when they refused to end their protest.

Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s sisters had staged a sit-in near Adiala Jail on Tuesday. They started a protest to meet Imran Khan, but authorities refused to get them enter in the jail.

The police have confirmed that the official meeting hours had ended when the PTI workers reached Adiala Jail to meet Imran Khan, and that was the reason authorities didn’t allow PTI leaders to enter the jail.

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and Imran Khan’s sisters, including Aleema Khan, Naureen Khan, and Uzma Khan, reached Adial to meet the PTI founder.

Punjab Police stopped Imran Khan’s sisters at the factory checkpoint. Aleema Khan was continuously trying to calm PTI workers, and she urged the workers to step back, saying the police officials are not “our enemies”.

Aleema Khan also said that she was trying to keep PTI workers calm as the women were present at the protest.

PTI leaders, including Juniad Akbar and Shahid Khattak, joined the Sit-in organized by Imran Khan’s sisters at the factory checkpoint near Adiala jail.
