Islamabad:Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, during which both leaders discussed the ongoing regional tensions and recent developments in detail.
During the conversation, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity and full support for Saudi Arabia, strongly condemning the attack on oil facilities in Jubail earlier today.
He assured the Crown Prince that the people and government of Pakistan stand firmly with their Saudi brothers and sisters at all times, just as the Saudi leadership and people have always supported Pakistan in times of need.
The Prime Minister praised the wisdom and leadership of the Saudi leadership, noting that Saudi Arabia has shown maximum restraint and patience during the current crisis.
He further emphasized that Pakistan is actively engaging with other countries to promote peace and reduce tensions in the region, and briefed the Crown Prince on Pakistan’s mediation efforts and diplomatic initiatives.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister also conveyed his respectful regards and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Meanwhile, the Saudi Crown Prince appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for mediation and peace, stating that Pakistan’s initiatives are commendable and contribute positively to regional stability and security.
The telephonic contact reaffirmed the deep-rooted brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, highlighting the importance of mutual cooperation during the current tensions to maintain peace in the region.
The exchange reflected the longstanding strategic partnership and shared responsibility of both nations in promoting regional stability through constructive and positive engagement.
