Starting from December 1, 2025 Petroleum product prices in Pakistan are expected to see a significant reduction.

Petrol prices may see a decrease by Rs. 3.75 per litre. High speed diesel may see a reduction of Rs. 6.10 per litre according to credible sources.

About Rs. 0.73 drop may be seen in the price of kerosene, while light diesel oil may see a reduction of Rs. 6.35 per litre.

The calculations regarding proposed price changes have been completed by Oil companies. The calculations have also been submitted to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

A summary of recommended adjustments is being prepared by OGRA, which will be submitted to Ministry of Finance.

The new petroleum prices for the next 15 days will be announced by Ministry of Finance on November 30 after consultation with Prime Minister. The new prices will be available from December 1.

If the prices are reduced this will be a great relief for the people of Pakistan.

This will be a welcome development in an environment where prices of products around the world keep increasing.
