PCB reveals umpires and referee for Pak vs Australia ODIs

The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the match officials for the three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Australia.


According to details, the series will be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore from May 30 to June 4.


Former Sri Lankan Test cricketer Graeme Labrooy will serve as the match referee for all three ODIs.


Pakistan’s Ahsan Raza, England’s Richard Kettleborough, and Sri Lanka’s Kumar Dharmasena, all members of the ICC Elite Panel, will perform on-field umpiring duties.


In addition, Asif Yaqoob, Faisal Afridi, and Nasir Hussain will also officiate as on-field umpires during the series.


In the first ODI, Dharmasena and Asif Yaqoob will officiate on the field, while Faisal Afridi and Kettleborough will umpire the second match.


For the third ODI, Ahsan Raza and Dharmasena will serve as on-field umpires, while Nasir Hussain will perform duties as the fourth umpire.

Pakistani Squad for the series:

Sources say the probable players include Saim Ayub, Abrar Ahmed, Haider Ali, Shadab Khan, Saad Baig, Ahmed Daniyal, Faiq Butt, Faisal Akram, Hunain Shah, Aamir Jamal, Khawaja Nafay and Arafat Minhas.

Other likely inclusions are Salman Mirza, Sufiyan Muqeem, Usman Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Ali Raza, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, Abdul Samad, Moaz Sadaqat, Mehran Mumtaz and Akif Javed.

White-ball players currently involved in the Test squad are not included in the list, while all-rounders Faheem Ashraf and Mohammad Nawaz are also expected to miss out.

Australian squad:

On the other hand, Mitchell Marsh will lead Australia in the ODI series against Pakistan. Other members of the squad include Alex Carey, Cameron Green, Nathan Ellis, Josh Inglis, Matthew Kuhnemann, Marnus Labuschagne, Riley Meredith, Ollie Peake, Matthew Renshaw, Tanveer Sangha, Liam Scott, Matthew Short, Billy Stanlake and Adam Zampa.
