Islamabad – Ceasefire violations have been reported in several areas across the conflict zone, raising concerns over the stability of the recently agreed two-week truce between Iran and the United States.

In a statement, the Prime Minister of Pakistan expressed deep concern over these violations, noting that they undermine the spirit of the peace process. He earnestly urged all parties to exercise restraint and fully respect the ceasefire, emphasizing that adherence is crucial for diplomacy to take the lead toward a peaceful resolution of the conflict.

“Violations of the ceasefire have been reported in a few areas across the conflict zone, which undermine the spirit of the peace process. I earnestly and sincerely urge all parties to exercise restraint and fully respect the agreed two-week ceasefire, so that diplomacy can take the lead in achieving a peaceful settlement of the conflict,” the Prime Minister said.

Pakistan has consistently positioned itself as a mediator in regional conflicts, highlighting its commitment to peace and dialogue. Officials emphasized that honoring the ceasefire is essential not only to prevent further escalation but also to allow diplomatic channels to effectively work toward lasting solutions.

The international community continues to monitor the situation closely, as efforts to maintain the truce remain critical for regional stability and global energy security.
