Pakistan to continue mediation between US Iran

Arab media outlet Al Mayadeen reported that failing to reach an agreement in the negotiations does not indicate that the entire diplomatic process has collapsed.

According to the outlet, in such situations the negotiation process continues through different stages, and maintaining contact between the parties forms the basis for future progress.

The report further states that despite the current situation, diplomatic efforts have not completely ended, and backchannel contacts and discussions may still continue.

On many occasions, even when there is no initial agreement in early meetings, progress becomes possible in later stages. Therefore, a deadlock at one stage is not considered a complete failure.

The report also notes that, according to various sources, Pakistan will continue to play a positive role in this process. Efforts are being made by Pakistan to promote diplomatic engagement between Tehran and Washington in order to reduce tensions.

For this purpose, both sides are being encouraged to continue dialogue, reduce differences, and explore common ground.

Sources suggest that Pakistan’s strategy is to build trust between both sides through direct and indirect diplomatic channels, so that the path toward a possible agreement can be paved.
