Rawalpindi: The Pakistan and Indonesian armies successfully concluded their joint military exercise, Shaheen Strike-II, on November 18, 2025, after nearly two weeks of intensive counter-terrorism training, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations ISPR.
Exercise focused on counter-terrorism operations
Held from November 8 to 19, the exercise centered on refining tactics, drills and procedures for counter-terrorism (CT) operations. Combat teams from both armies focused on operations in built-up areas and counter-improvised explosive device measures.
Troops demonstrate professionalism and operational excellence
Throughout the exercise, participating personnel showcased high standards of professionalism and operational capability. ISPR stated that all training objectives were successfully met, highlighting the readiness of both forces to address complex threats.
Ceremony underscores military cooperation
The closing ceremony was attended by a senior Pakistani General as Chief Guest, with top Indonesian military officials representing their country. The event reinforced the longstanding military-to-military cooperation between Pakistan and Indonesia.
