Washington: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Boeing Company’s headquarters in Washington, where progress was made regarding the purchase of 16 aircraft for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
According to media reports, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Boeing Global President Brendan Nelson. A delegation from PIA’s management accompanied him during the meeting.
During the meeting, significant progress was made on the acquisition of 16 new aircraft for PIA. The two sides discussed the best available options for the purchase and agreed to finalize the best possible deal at the earliest.
Mohsin Naqvi thanked Boeing Global President Brendan Nelson for assuring cooperation in expediting the purchase of the new aircraft for PIA.
He also praised Boeing’s leading role in the global aerospace industry and acknowledged the company’s contribution to aircraft manufacturing.
