Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced a reduction in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices, providing financial relief to households across the country.
According to the official notification, effective November 1, the price of LPG has decreased by 5.88 rupees per kilogram. Following the reduction, the revised price for a domestic LPG cylinder now stands at 2,378.89 rupees, while the per-kilogram price has been set at 201.60 rupees.
Government and Consumer Impact
This adjustment comes as part of OGRA’s ongoing efforts to stabilize energy costs for consumers amid fluctuating international fuel prices. Analysts suggest that the reduction will ease household expenses, especially for families heavily reliant on LPG for daily cooking needs.
Officials noted that OGRA continuously monitors domestic and international fuel markets and may adjust LPG prices in the future to reflect changing supply and demand conditions, ensuring affordability and energy stability.
