Khwaja Asif criticized JAAC

The Defence Minister Khwaja Asif has criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying India has been left with little to show, while its media continues to react strongly. He claimed Pakistan had outperformed a much larger adversary and that India is still trying to restore its image.

Speaking to the media outside Parliament House, Khawaja Asif stated that Pakistan has been recognized as a credible mediator both in the region and globally. He added that the world, including Arab countries and global powers such as the United States, is now closely watching Pakistan’s role.

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that the entire nation deserves congratulations as Pakistan has earned global respect, claiming the country played a key role in preventing a major international conflict.

He further said that the “hybrid model” comprising both civilian and military leadership has achieved remarkable success over the past two to three years. According to him, this demonstrates that when all power centers work together, Pakistan can achieve significant success on the global stage.

Khawaja Asif added that as a nation, Pakistan must now focus on internal challenges including economic stability and tackling terrorism. He also remarked that Afghanistan should acknowledge Pakistan’s long-standing hospitality, warning that if this is not reciprocated, Pakistan may have limited options moving forward.

Furthermore, several world leaders and international observers have been praising Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in promoting peace and de-escalation while Pakistan is preparing to host historical world peace negotiations on Friday in Islamabad.
