Due to poor diplomacy and double policies of the Modi government, India is facing a severe energy crisis, while a large number of Indian ships have been stranded in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the Indian broadcaster NDTV, Indian authorities have confirmed that 10 foreign-flagged ships supplying fuel to India are stuck in the Persian Gulf.

The report further states that 18 Indian-flagged ships carrying LPG, crude oil, and LNG are also stranded in the Strait of Hormuz.

NDTV reports that the war-affected zone is no longer limited to the Strait of Hormuz, but surrounding areas have also been declared high-risk.

Iranian authorities have clarified that only ships from friendly countries will be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz after prior coordination with Iranian officials.

Global experts say that due to rising tensions in the Middle East, any disruption in such a crucial trade route like the Strait of Hormuz has intensified fuel shortages in India.

The Modi government’s pro-Israel policy and ineffective planning have pushed India into a serious energy crisis.
