MG Binguo EV price in Pakistan

Web Desk: MG Motor Pakistan has reduced the price of its Binguo EV by Rs300,000 as competition intensifies in Pakistan’s growing electric vehicle market.

The company announced the revised pricing during the launch event of the new MG4 EV Urban in Lahore. Following the cut, the compact electric hatchback now costs Rs5.699 million, down from its previous price of Rs5.999 million.

MG introduced the Binguo EV in Pakistan in December last year, targeting urban commuters looking for an affordable electric mobility option. Since then, competition in the local EV segment has increased as automakers expand their electric vehicle offerings.

The Binguo EV comes equipped with a 31.9 kWh lithium ferro-phosphate battery and an electric motor that produces 67 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque. According to the company, the vehicle offers a WLTP-certified driving range of up to 273 kilometers on a single charge.

In addition, the hatchback supports both DC fast charging and standard AC charging. MG said DC fast charging can recharge the battery from 30% to 80% in around 35 minutes. Meanwhile, AC charging takes about 5.5 hours to charge the battery from 20% to 100%.

The latest price revision comes as automakers compete to attract price-conscious consumers in Pakistan’s emerging EV sector. Analysts say lower prices and improved charging infrastructure could accelerate electric vehicle adoption across the country.
