The rating of Islamabad International Airport has improved. The Skytrax company has awarded Islamabad International Airport with three stars.
The Skytrax World Airport Star Rating were introduced 20 years ago and became a benchmark of evaluation for the airport industry.
The ratings start up from 1-star and gradually move up to 5-stars. The stars represent the quality of the airports. Their product standards and their staff service.
If an airport is awarded one or two stars, it means that the facilities in that airport are poor. If an airport is awarded four or five stars, that means that the facilities of that airport are good.
Three stars are given to airports which are average or inconsistent. Some facilities might be poor, and some might be great.
The Islamabad International Airport seems to be improving since it has recently been awarded three stars.
Like Islamabad International Airport, Dubai Airport has also been awarded three stars.
Allama Iqbal International Airport has been awarded two stars, while Jinnah International Airport in Karachi has also been awarded 2 stars.
