Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar openly commented on the “Abraham Accords” and Pakistan’s policy regarding the matter.
According to BBC Urdu, after meeting U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington, Ishaq Dar spoke about the Abraham Accords and Islamabad’s policy during a press conference.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said, “Rumours are circulating that Pakistan has been asked to become part of the Abraham Accords. Pakistan has always had a very clear policy in this regard: until Palestine is recognized, the pre-1967 model is restored, and Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem) becomes its capital, there can be no flexibility on this matter.”
It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, Donald Trump had said that he had asked several countries, including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, to join the Abraham Accords.
