RIYADH: World football star Cristiano Ronaldo has said he will retire from football soon, and the reason for the decision is to spend more time with his family.

Ronaldo said he is serious about his post-retirement life and has been thinking about it for several years. Ronaldo, 40, admitted that it will be very difficult for him to end his illustrious career but that he has been preparing for the decision for the past several years.
