India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ breached International law: UN Experts

In a latest report by UN special experts, it has been declared that India’s “Operation Sindoor” was a clear violation of International law. India’s unilateral actions were strongly objected in the report. The report condemned the Pahalgam attack and emphasized that those actually responsible must be punished.

Report also made it clear that Pakistan had no involvement in the Pahalgam attack and called for a transparent and independent investigation.

The report by UN experts also says that United Nation Charter’s principles were violated by India by using force within Pakistan’s territory.

India also failed to provide any prior notification to the United Nations Security Council which is compulsory under International Law.

The attack targeted mosques, civilian areas. This resulted in several civilian casualties and injuries.

It was also made clear by the report that India has failed to prove any involvement by Pakistan in the attack. UN experts made it clear that India’s careless conduct could lead to a risk of a larger conflict.
