Web desk: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has said that India-backed elements linked to the Balochistan Liberation Army are obstructing Pakistan’s development and stability. He made these remarks while addressing a public gathering and speaking to media.
The chief minister stated that militant violence in Balochistan has slowed economic progress and disrupted peace. He said such activities target infrastructure projects and create fear among local communities.
Bugti claimed that foreign involvement has fueled unrest in the province. He alleged that hostile forces want to undermine Pakistan by supporting militant groups that oppose development initiatives.
He emphasized that the government remains committed to restoring peace through security operations and political engagement. He added that development projects in Balochistan aim to improve livelihoods and integrate the province into the national economy.
