Islamabad: Former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan underwent a detailed medical examination at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) under the supervision of a medical board.
According to the hospital administration, he was given his third anti-VEGF injection, while the medical board declared his eyesight satisfactory.
Officials said that all necessary precautions and strict security protocols were implemented upon his arrival at the hospital. His treatment was carried out as a day-care admission.
After the examination and treatment, he was discharged with complete medical instructions, a follow-up plan, and relevant documents.
The PIMS administration added that his medical condition will continue to be monitored regularly.
According to doctors during earlier examinations he had been prescribed these injections along with regular monitoring to manage his eye condition. The latest procedure marks the continuation of that treatment plan.
