Web Desk: Jail sources have dismissed reports suggesting that former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan might be moved from Adiala Jail. According to officials, the rumors of his transfer are baseless, and Khan remains in Adiala under full care and supervision.
Health and Security Monitored
A five-member medical team from Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) recently conducted a full medical examination of Khan. Sources confirmed he is in good health, with both his security and meals carefully managed within the facility.
Government’s Position on Stability
Reports had emerged earlier that the government was considering transferring Khan from Adiala Jail. Federal authorities, however, maintain that the situation has reached a stage where rollback is impossible, citing PTI’s alleged agenda of creating unrest under the guise of protests.
Official Comments
Prime Minister’s Coordinator, Ikhtiar Wali, acknowledged that authorities had considered a transfer but emphasized that any decision would be taken with caution. He reiterated that Khan will remain in custody while security and stability concerns are being carefully monitored. While political tensions continue, jail sources reaffirm that no immediate transfer of Imran Khan is being planned. Authorities continue to ensure the former prime minister’s safety, health, and welfare within Adiala Jail.
