Investigators still have not been able to determine the cause of actress Humaira Asghar’s death.

In the final medico-legal report, it was stated that her body was incomplete and only a few bones could be recovered, hence, it is impossible to determine the exact cause of Humaira Asghar’s death.

However, the report also raised some suspicions because some bloodstains were found on Humaira Asghar’s clothes, including her T-shirt and trousers. Moreover, traces of DNA were also discovered on her clothes.

It is pertinent to mention that her phone is still missing from the scene.

In July 2025, her decomposed body was discovered in apartment.

The discovery was made when a court-appointed bailiff and police forcibly entered the flat due to months of unpaid rent.

Investigators confirmed that Humaira was active on her devices until at least October 7, 2024, the date she attempted to contact 14 people.

She had retreated from public life in recent years. Known for her work in modelling and supporting roles in dama serials, she had built a substantial following on social media.

Her family’s delayed response also stirred controversy. Initial reports confirmed her father declined to claim the body, with a brother-in-law eventually travelling from Lahore to collect the remains. The family has since demanded a comprehensive investigation, asserting that her death was neither natural nor accidental.

She last posted on September 30th on Instagram. According to reports, she was also struggling financially.
