Web desk: The government in Rawalpindi has appointed two doctors to examine Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan. Dr Amjad and Dr Nadeem Qureshi make up the medical panel.
The panel will examine Imran Khan soon. After their assessment, authorities will decide whether to transfer him to a hospital for further treatment.
Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said Imran Khan will continue his eye treatment under close supervision. He added that doctors will perform additional examinations if necessary.
Attaullah Tarar tweeted that ophthalmology specialists at a dedicated medical institution will conduct the treatment and examination. The doctors will also submit a detailed medical report to the Supreme Court.
The minister urged the public to avoid speculation about Imran Khan’s health. He asked everyone to rely only on verified updates.
