Sydney: Aaron Finch the Australian Cricket great has praised Shaheen Shah Afridi as one of the most dangerous fast bowlers of World Cricket. According to Finch, Afridi can dismantle any batsman once he finds his rhythm.

Finch stated on a recent podcast about BBL that “Shaheen Shah Afridi can tear a batting lineup apart when he gets it right,”.

This year seven players from Pakistan will be taking part in BBL. Shaheen will representing Brisbane Heat. Significant value has been added to tournament due to Pakistani stars according to Finch. Both in terms of development of players and competition.

Finch also recalled his battles with Babar Azam on-field and spoke highly of him ““I played against Babar in Pakistan, and it was almost impossible to get him out,” he said. “I know he’s been a little bit more quiet in the last 18 months, but he’s a world-beater at his very best.”

He also noted that Mohammad Rizwan has a constant energy and joked “Mohammad Rizwan never shuts up behind the stumps, but seriously talented.”

He further described Pakistan’s players as global superstars and also said they will bring immense value to BBL.

“They’re not just Pakistan players, they’re Pakistan superstars, they’re global superstars,” he said. “That’s so important to our game because they’re such great players. I think that knowledge-sharing is crucial, and that’s why having internationals in our competition matters.”
