Islamabad – The international newspaper The Telegraph has called Field Marshal Seyed Asim Munir an “international peacemaker” for his role in brokering a ceasefire between the United States and Iran.

According to The Telegraph, Field Marshal Seyed Asim Munir is known in the White House as Trump’s “favorite field marshal.” The former U.S. President described him as a “great warrior, highly important personality, and extraordinary human being.”

Following recent developments, Trump and U.S. officials have grown even more appreciative of Field Marshal Munir, who played a key role in securing a delicate and temporary ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran. Pakistan widely praised this mediation effort, with experts saying it will enhance Pakistan’s global reputation and influence.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Seyed Asim Munir’s vision has been credited with turning Pakistan into a global “superhero,” according to official sources.

Pakistani government sources told The Telegraph that Field Marshal Munir, in coordination with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance and Middle East Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, secured the agreement after weeks of behind-the-scenes negotiations. Reports indicate that he also persuaded China to help convince Iran to agree to the deal.
