Quetta: A coordinated attack on Frontier Corps (FC) in Nokundi was foiled by the security forces. This happened late on Sunday night and 3 terrorists were killed.
The FC South Spokesperson stated, “a suicide bomber detonated himself at the main gate of the headquarters, and after the blast, at least half a dozen armed terrorists attempted to force their way into the camp.”
The three attackers who managed to enter the fort were shot dead on the spot due to a coordinated response from the FC’s Quick Response Force.
Several loud blasts and intense gunfire was heard by the locals residing in the area.
Authorities have confirmed that a clearance operation has been launched inside the fort and security forces have regained full control of the situation.
