The Motorway Police have issued an important traffic advisory for motorists travelling on various highways, announcing temporary restrictions on passenger vehicles and traffic diversions at several locations.
According to a Motorway Police spokesperson, the entry of passenger vehicles has been temporarily suspended near kilometre 504 on the M-1 Motorway close to Charsadda due to heavy rainfall.
Police have urged travellers to check weather and traffic conditions before setting out and to drive with caution.
Meanwhile, traffic has been diverted at multiple points on the E-35 Hazara Motorway due to the repair of a high-voltage power transmission line.
According to the Motorway Police, traffic is being redirected near kilometre 96 southbound (main carriageway), kilometre 95 southbound at Bhedra, and kilometre 84 northbound near Qalandarabad to ensure the repair work is carried out safely.
The Motorway Police have advised the public to avoid unnecessary travel, follow the issued traffic advisory, and use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience.
