Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) will be observed across Pakistan tomorrow with religious devotion and respect.
The government has announced a public holiday across the country. Seminars, conferences and Naat gatherings on the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) will be held, while processions will also be taken out in different cities.
The day will dawn with thirty-one-gun salute in the Federal Capital and a twenty-one-gun salute in all provincial capitals. It will be a public holiday tomorrow.
Special prayers will be offered after the Fajr prayer for unity of the Muslim Ummah and the progress and prosperity of the country.
Special Milad and Durood-o-Salam gatherings will be held at mosques across the country tonight. Religious scholars will highlight various aspects of the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
To mark the arrival of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), streets, neighbourhoods, markets and mosques across the country have been decorated with green flags and colourful lights.
Government and private buildings have also been illuminated, while decorative arches and gates have been installed at several markets and roads.
Devotees are also expressing their love and respect for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) by making beautiful models of the Holy Kaaba and Masjid-e-Nabawi.
Arrangements have also been made to distribute food and Niaz across the country on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
The main event of the day will be the International Seerat-un-Nabi Conference to be held in the Federal Capital tomorrow.
Milad processions will be taken out in all cities in which Ulema and Khateeb will highlight all aspects of life of Prophet Muhammad Sallallah-o-Alaih-e-Wasallam, stressing adherence to his teachings and Sunnah.
