The National Cyber Crime Agency has arrested YouTuber Dr Omer Adil after a complaint accused him of posting hateful content on YouTube. An FIR under PECA 2016 and other sections alleges offensive language against the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Arain community. All allegations are subject to investigation.

- The complaint was filed by Talat Mehmood, who says he came across a vlog on 9 August 2025 titled “Loud Speaker: Omer Adil’s Open Letter to PM Shahbaz Sharif Free Yet Priceless Advice.”
