Web Desk: International off-price retailer Ministry of Brands (MOB) has entered Pakistan, opening its first store in Karachi as it seeks to give consumers access to global fashion labels at substantially reduced prices.

The retailer began operations at its three-storey outlet in Bukhari Commercial, DHA Phase 6, on Aug. 12, while the company scheduled its formal launch event for Sept. 5.

MOB says the store offers discounts of as much as 90% from original retail prices, creating a new retail option for Pakistani consumers looking for international fashion brands without having to shop abroad.

The Karachi store carries products across several categories, including women’s and men’s clothing, children’s apparel, footwear, handbags and accessories.

According to the company, its selection includes more than 2,000 international brands and labels, ranging from premium and designer names to established high-street and sportswear brands.

The portfolio includes Ferragamo, Ralph Lauren, Farm Rio, Tory Burch, Rag & Bone, On Running, HOKA, Air Jordan, Michael Kors, Karl Lagerfeld and Calvin Klein, among others.

MOB’s arrival adds another international-focused retailer to Karachi’s fashion market, where demand for branded apparel and footwear has grown alongside interest in global labels.

At the center of MOB’s business is the off-price retail model, which allows retailers to source branded inventory through established supply programmes involving major retailers and department stores in the United States and Europe.

Rather than requiring customers to travel overseas, the model brings those products into local stores and sells them at lower prices than their original retail levels.

The company said the approach is designed to make authentic international fashion more accessible to Pakistani shoppers while retaining the appeal of established global brands.

MOB Director Noor Mandviwalla said the retailer’s goal was to make international fashion available to a broader audience in Pakistan.

“Style should be personal, not privileged,” Mandviwalla said, adding that the company wanted consumers to discover international fashion without the expense and inconvenience of traveling abroad.

The Karachi launch marks MOB’s first physical retail presence in Pakistan and signals the company’s entry into a market where consumers have traditionally relied on overseas travel, imported goods or local retailers for access to international fashion labels.

With its three-floor format and broad brand selection, MOB is positioning its Karachi outlet as a destination for shoppers seeking discounted international fashion under one roof.
