Web Desk: A Chinese woman died after a fall from a residential building in Pakistan’s capital, police said on Wednesday, as authorities launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The incident occurred in Islamabad’s G-8 sector, where emergency services and police responded promptly after receiving an alert. Officers secured the area and began initial inquiries at the scene.

Police identified the deceased as Wan Ru Ping, who had been visiting Pakistan on a visit visa, according to officials familiar with the matter.
