Web Desk: OpenAI has introduced ChatGPT Go in the United States as a low-cost subscription plan. For just eight dollars per month, users can access the advanced GPT-5.2 model. The plan also offers higher usage limits and improved memory features.
ChatGPT Go sits below the $20 per month Plus plan and the $200 per month Pro plan. OpenAI designed Go for everyday users who want more features than the free version but do not want an expensive subscription.
Users get ten times more messages than the free tier. They can upload more files and generate more images. GPT-5.2 provides faster, more accurate, and safer responses. The improved memory feature helps the AI remember conversation context better.
OpenAI first launched ChatGPT Go in India. Eligible users there received twelve months of free access as a promotional offer. In the U.S., the monthly fee is eight dollars, roughly five dollars based on Indian pricing.
OpenAI will soon test ads in the ChatGPT app. Ads will appear under responses for free and Go users. Sponsored products or services may show, but ads will be clearly labeled, will not affect answers, and user chats will not be shared. Plus and Pro users remain ad-free.
By launching ChatGPT Go, OpenAI strengthens its plan to expand access to GPT-5.2. The company aims to provide flexible options for users with different budgets. This move brings advanced AI tools to a wider audience.
