By-Election Updates: Provisional Results

The first unofficial results of NA-96 Jaranwala are out. At polling station 223, PML-N’s Bilal Badr Chaudhry leads with 82 votes. Nawab Sher Waseer is second with 32 votes. Mirza Arshad Mehmood Baig has 21 votes.

In PP-73, Sargodha, the first unofficial results are in from polling station 131. PML-N candidate Sultan Ali Ranjha leads with 68 votes. Independent candidate Mehr Mohsin Raza has 2 votes. Another independent, Haris Nawaz Ranjha, has none. The political atmosphere is heating up. More results are expected from other polling stations.

In NA-129 Lahore, early unofficial results from 115 polling stations show PML-N candidate Hafiz Nauman leading with 12,425 votes, while PTI-backed Chaudhry Arsalan is second with 7,658 votes.
Full results will be revealed after all polling stations’ data are received

In NA-18 Haripur, the by-election is highly competitive. Early unofficial results from 141 polling stations show PML-N candidate Babar Nawaz leading with 44680 votes. Shehrnaz Ayub, wife of former winner Omar Ayub, is in second place with 41814 votes. The contest is tight, and the final outcome will be clear only after all results are counted. Previously, Omar Ayub had won this seat, but after his disqualification, his wife is now contesting.

In NA-185 Dera Ghazi Khan, by-election voting has taken place. Early unofficial results from 17 polling stations show PML-N candidate Sardar Mahmood Qadir Laghari in the lead. He has received 11,045 votes so far. PPP candidate Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa is in second place with 4,221 votes. Counting is ongoing, and final results may change. The Election Commission will announce the official results later.
