Miscreant terrorists of the proscribed Action Committee attack a police check post in Bagh district; one FC personnel martyred.
According to preliminary reports, on September 5 miscreant terrorists of the proscribed Action Committee attacked the police check post located on Churhoti Road from three sides and started indiscriminate firing. As a result, FC soldier Rehan Gul was martyred.
During the exchange of fire, one terrorist among the attackers was killed, while 02 magazines, 01 Kalashnikov, 03 magazines along with ammunition, and 01 dagger were recovered from his possession. The identification of the killed terrorist is underway.
According to police officials, the attacking terrorists fled the scene after the firing, and a search operation is being conducted throughout the area to trace/arrest them.
The law enforcement agencies vowed that state will not compromise on the protection of the lives and property of citizens. Those who challenge the writ of the state and law-enforcement agencies will be dealt with strictly in accordance with the law.
