Sources say the team management suggested that Babar Azam should rest for some time. Because of this advice he will not take part in the ongoing National T20 Cup. The management also did not instruct him to play in the tournament.
Babar Azam has already informed Lahore Whites about his unavailability. The team is currently competing in the National T20 Cup.
Sources also say that Babar Azam has started training in the nets with private coaches. He wants to improve his batting and regain his best form. His main focus is preparation for the upcoming Pakistan Super League.
Reports say the star batter is working hard to restore his previous batting technique. Fans expect him to appear as an opening batter for Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League.
