Actor and presenter Ayesha Omar will host Lazawaal Ishq (Eternal Love), billed as the first Urdu reality show about love.
Adapted from the Turkish format Aşk Adası, the series will premiere on YouTube and introduce Urdu speaking viewers to a global hit style of high-stakes romance television.
A first for Urdu audiences with a global ready format
Ayesha, speaking from Istanbul where she is stationed for five weeks, called the project a first of its kind for Pakistani viewers worldwide.
The show brings an established international template to a new audience, following the success of adaptations in Persian (Eshghe Abadi) and Arabic (Qesma w Naseeb).
Producers selected an Urdu speaking host to keep the tone authentic and accessible while inviting a broad international following through digital distribution.
Eight contestants, one villa, and a winning couple
Lazawaal Ishq features four men and four women living together in a luxury villa, their interactions recorded around the clock.
Over 100 episodes, contestants will face games, challenges, alliances, and rivalries as they test compatibility and resilience.
A final winning couple will be crowned, echoing the competitive structure familiar to fans of Love Island and The Bachelor.
Omar says viewers will follow genuine bonds forming, tensions rising, and decisions that shape each couple’s path.
Turkish setting, glossy visuals, and a YouTube premiere
The teaser opens with sweeping views of the Bosphorus, then follows Omar arriving by boat before entering the grand villa with a pool.
She explains that every interaction will be captured on camera and that the champions will receive a handsome reward.
Pakistani participants appear in the promo with their suitcases, ready to begin.
With glossy production values, a picturesque Turkish backdrop, and a digital-first release, Lazawaal Ishq aims to merge romance, spectacle, and drama into a binge-able staple for Urdu audiences everywhere.
