In the fifth match of Asia Cup, Sri Lanka beats Bangladesh.
The match took place at the Zayed Cricket Stadium today (Saturday).
Chasing a modest 140-run target, Sri Lanka comfortably knocked the winning runs for the loss of four wickets.
Sri Lanka skipper Charith Asalanka had won the toss in Abu Dhabi and elected to bowl in their first match of the Asia Cup.
Pakistan, India, Oman and UAE are in Group A, while Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Hong Kong and Bangladesh form Group B.
Afghanistan continue to top Group B with two points. Sri Lanka inhabit second place with two points, while Bangladesh drop to third with two points as well, but with a poorer net run rate.
The top two teams from each Group will qualify for the Super Four stage.
The top two teams will then play the September 28 final in Dubai.
Pakistan is set to play against India tomorrow (September 14) in UAE.
