Arshad Nadeem Set to Shine at 35th National Games in Karachi

Web Desk: Olympic Gold Medalist, Arhsad Nadeem, Pakistan’s javelin throw sensation will be in action at the 35th national games in Karachi. Sindh will be hosting this multi-sport event after an 18-year gap.

Arshad Nadeem, speaking at the event stated that he is preparing for next year’s Diamond league and other major international tournaments. He also said he is excited to compete in 35th National games.

At the National Bank stadium, the National Games open today with a grand ceremony. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PPP Chairman was also present there as a chief guest.

Before this, the torch for the Games at Punjab was lit up by Arshad Nadeem. The torch marked the symbolic start of the event.

During the Islamic Solidarity Games the star javelin thrower was able to add another gold medal to his career.

On November 19, at the Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Stadium his winning moment came. In that stadium he secured the men’s javelin title with a best throw of 83.05 metres on his second attempt.

Before crossing the 80m mark, Arshad Nadeem opened with a 74.00m throw. His series also included 77.06m, a foul on his fifth attempt, and a final throw of 77.98m to close another strong performance.
