Web Desk: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has extended the admission deadline, giving thousands of prospective students an additional opportunity to enroll. According to university officials, the final date for all programs, from matriculation to postgraduate levels, is now April 15.

The extension covers a wide range of academic programs, including matric, intermediate, BS, teacher training programs, associate degrees, and postgraduate diplomas. Officials said the decision was made in consideration of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr holidays and the influx of applications from students across the country.

University authorities emphasised that admission forms and prospectuses are available online, allowing students to complete their registration from home conveniently. The extension ensures that students who missed the initial deadline still have a chance to apply.

The announcement has been widely praised on social media, where students are actively reminding each other about the new deadline. University officials hope that the extra time will enable more students to take advantage of this educational opportunity.
