Abrar ul Haq postpomed concert

Pakistani singer Abrar Ul Haq has postponed his concert in Middlesbrough, UK following the tragic incident at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) nursery in Islamabad.

Expressing grief over the loss of innocent lives, the singer said the decision was made out of respect for the victims and their families.

The concert has now been rescheduled for September. Organisers said tickets already purchased for the original date will remain valid for the new date.

On August 26, fourteen newborn babies were killed and several others severely burned after a fire broke out early in the nursery ward of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad.

The tragic deaths of 14 newborn babies have plunged the entire country into mourning.

Several Pakistani showbiz personalities including  Sadia Imam, Javeria Saud, Sawera Pasha and Meher Bokhari  have expressed deep grief and anger over the incident and demanded action against those responsible.

Pakistani celebrities are also now calling out Health Minister Mustafa Kamal’s insensitivity. Bushra Ansari, Seemi Raheal, Sahar Hashmi and Imran Abbas spoke up when they saw the mistreatment of PIMS victims.
