After Ducky Bhai, Iqra Kanwal summoned by Cybercrime Agency over gambling app promotion

WEBDESK: Popular YouTuber and vlogger Iqra Kanwal, known for her channel Sistrology, has been summoned by the National Cybercrime Agency in a case linked to online fraud and gambling app promotion.

Officials said the action follows the arrest of YouTuber “Ducky Bhai,” who was already taken into custody. His case provided key leads that directed investigators towards other well-known social media personalities. Along with Iqra Kanwal, summons have also been issued to Ins Ali, Mudassir Hassan and Muhammad Hasnain.

According to investigators, the group is accused of using social media to lure young people towards gambling apps and to carry out financial fraud through fake online trading platforms. Authorities said they promoted gambling content online, misled the public with false investment schemes, and pushed people to deposit money on bogus websites.

Law enforcement agencies said they have fulfilled their responsibility by making arrests and issuing notices. They added that it is now up to the judiciary to decide on the next course of action.
