The Punjab government has imposed a one-month ban on eight stage actresses over allegations of indecent dancing and inappropriate gestures.

According to a notification issued by the Punjab Information and Culture Department, eight stage actresses have been banned from performing in theaters for one month. The actresses have been accused of performing obscene dances and making inappropriate gestures.

According to the notification, the stage actresses who have been banned include Mahi Rajput, Hina Sheikh, Malaika Shehzadi, Madiha Khan, Mehak Noor, and Mano Multani.

The notification further stated that Raima Mehr and Hasna Jutt have also been banned from performing in theaters for one month. Thus, a total of eight stage actresses have been barred from theater performances for one month.

The order issued by the Punjab Information and Culture Department cited allegations of indecent dancing and inappropriate gestures as the reason for the ban. According to the notification, action was taken against the actresses over inappropriate performances on stage.

The Punjab government’s notification directed all relevant authorities to ensure strict implementation of the ban. The concerned authorities were instructed to fully enforce the order so that the actresses would not perform in theaters during the one-month period.

The notification also clearly specifies the duration of the ban along with the names of the eight actresses. Mahi Rajput, Hina Sheikh, Malaika Shehzadi, Madiha Khan, Mehak Noor, Mano Multani, Raima Mehr, and Hasna Jutt will not be allowed to perform in theaters for one month.
