Rs1,500 prize bond

Web Desk: The National Savings Centre in Faisalabad held Draw No. 107 for the Rs1,500 prize bond, ending the wait for bondholders and announcing the winning numbers.

The first prize of Rs3 million went to bond number 177110, while three bondholders won the second prize of Rs1 million each.

The second-prize winning numbers were 804336, 985779 and 987416.

Meanwhile, 1,696 winners will each receive Rs18,500 under the third-prize category.

Prize bonds are widely regarded in Pakistan as a low-risk investment because holders retain the face value of their bonds while remaining eligible to participate in periodic prize draws.

The draws are held every three months, giving bondholders regular opportunities to win cash prizes.

Citizens can purchase prize bonds by submitting a copy of a valid identity card and the required application form at designated State Bank of Pakistan offices, selected commercial bank branches or National Savings Centres.

Similarly, winners can claim their prize money by submitting the prescribed claim form at the relevant State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation field office, designated commercial bank branch or National Savings Centre.

For tax year 2026, prize money is subject to a 15% tax deduction for individuals listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL), while non-filers face a 30% tax rate.

The deductions apply to prize money paid to successful bondholders.
