Pakistani television dramas are still excellent today; the only difference is that actors of our era were less concerned about remuneration. Their focus was on performing with dedication and providing quality entertainment to viewers, former television actress Nilofar Abbasi said while addressing a dinner held in her honor in Jeddah.
Women from Jeddah attended the dinner along with their families. The event was organized in honor of the renowned former Pakistan Television actress.
Saudi intellectual Khalid Al-Mina, his wife, renowned broadcaster Samar Fatani, and Pakistan’s Deputy Consul General Farina Arshad also attended the gathering.
Speaking on the occasion, Khalid Al-Mina and Samar Fatani said that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has given Saudi women an important role in society, with women now holding prominent positions across the country.
They encouraged Pakistani women to recognize their importance in both Saudi and Pakistani society, develop their skills and pursue success.
Deputy Consul General Farina Arshad, the chief guest at the dinner hosted by Dr. Afsar Ehtesham and Umaira Afsar, described Nilofar Abbasi as one of Pakistan’s great artists. She said people still enjoy watching her famous dramas and performances on YouTube.
She thanked the hosts for organizing the event. The dinner concluded with performances of beautiful songs by renowned singer Abrar Abbasi.
