Hyundai announces delivery of Elantra 1.6 special edition


Hyundai Nishat is set to make its deliveries of the Elantra 1.6 Special Edition this August, almost three months after sedan made its debut in Pakistan.

Hyundai Nishat launched the Elantra 1.6 Special Edition in May at an introductory ex-factory price of Rs. 6,449,000. Buyers can start the booking process with a partial payment of Rs. 1.5 million, Customers who opt for full upfront payment can get the vehicle at the current listed price. Hyundai is offering a four-year/100,000-kilometre warranty on Sedan, whichever limit is met first.

The Special Edition comes with multiple premium upgrades and added features which include Tetra LED auto headlamps with DRLs, LED rear combination lamps, a power sunroof, push-button start and smart entry. Other features include an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, cruise control, wireless charging, rear AC vents and four driving modes — Sport, Smart, ECO and Normal.

The sedan also features black exterior styling elements which include black side mirrors, door visors and a shark-fin antenna. Other upgrades include a rear spoiler with smart trunk release and a protective trunk mat.

The Elantra 1.6 Special Edition is equipped with the same 1.6-litre MPI petrol engine, delivering 126 horsepower and 155 Nm of torque. Power is delivered through a six-speed automatic transmission.

Hyundai Nishat has launched the model as a well-equipped feature-rich midsize sedan priced below Rs. 7 million. Sedan aspirants can visit Hyundai outlets to inspect the vehicle physically or place their bookings.
