PM Shehbaz, FM Asim Munir along with delegation perform Umrah, pray for Pakistan’s prosperity

PM Shehbaz, FM Asim Munir perform Umrah

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, along with a high-level Pakistani delegation, have performed Umrah.

After performing Umrah, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and other members of the delegation offered special prayers for Pakistan’s development, prosperity and national security, the unity of the Muslim Ummah, and peace and stability in the Muslim world and across the globe.

Before performing Umrah, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and other members of the delegation were also granted the privilege of a special visit to the Holy Kaaba, where they offered voluntary prayers and spent time in worship.

The delegation included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi and other senior officials. They prayed at the holy sites for national security, economic stability and the welfare of the people.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had arrived in Saudi Arabia with a high-level delegation, where he received a warm welcome. The visit is being described as highly significant both religiously and diplomatically.

According to official sources, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also meet Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman during his visit to Saudi Arabia. The meeting will discuss bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, investment, trade, defence cooperation, energy, the overall regional situation and other matters of mutual interest.

According to sources, the two leaders will also discuss ongoing Saudi investment projects in Pakistan, the promotion of economic cooperation, and matters related to peace and stability in the region.

Government officials say the prime minister’s visit is part of continued efforts to further strengthen relations between the two brotherly countries and expand cooperation in various sectors.
