PM chairs Apex committee meeting in Balochistan

PM Shehbaz Sharif has chaired an important meeting of the Apex Committee meeting under the National Action Plan in Quetta today. Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir also attended the meeting.

According to sources, Governor Balochistan Jafir Mandokhel, CM Sarfaraz Bughti, Federal ministers Atta Tarar, Ahad Cheema, PM’s advisor Rana Sanaullah and senior security officials also attended the meeting.

The meeting was held at Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Quetta to review the deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan.

While Charing the meeting, the PM said that India is fully involved in terror activities in Balochistan and provides every logistic and financial support to the terrorist groups. He said that whole nation stands with the Armed forces and we will continue war on terror till the elimination of the last terrorist.

The Prime minister also said during the recent combats the security forces fought the terrorists with strong resolve and eliminated 54 high profile terrorists while the security forces laid down their precious lives for sake of their motherland.

The PM further said that other foreign elements are also involved in terror activities in Pakistan, but their names are not to be mentioned at this moment. He paid tribute to the martyrs of the nation and their families and said that civil and military leadership are on the same page to fully eliminate the menace of terrorism.

The Prime minister further said that Allah has bestowed honour and prosperity on Pakistan which the enemy could not digest. He said that the embarrassing and shameful defeat of the enemy during Marka-e Haq has caused the enemy a great setback.

The participants of the meeting offered prayers for the souls of the martyrs of the nation and paid homage to their sacrifices and national spirit and resolve.
