The wreckage of the cargo aircraft belonging to a private company that went missing yesterday over the Arabian Sea has been found 53 nautical miles south of the Ormara coast.
According to reports, the Pakistan Navy and the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) located the wreckage during a search operation that lasted more than 12 hours at sea.
According to sources, rescue operations are still underway to search for additional evidence and the crew members.
The Pakistan Navy and the PMSA continue to deploy their naval and aerial assets in the ongoing search operation.
The K2 Airways cargo plane flying from Sharjah to Karachi has gone missing over the Arabian Sea, approximately 155 nautical miles west of Karachi, with five crew members on board.
Earlier, sources said the aircraft had reported navigation problems during the flight, and the pilot requested a heading from Air Traffic Control (ATC). ATC instructed the aircraft to maintain its current heading.
The initial report stated that the aircraft suddenly turned to the right and began losing altitude rapidly, descending at a rate of approximately 15,000 feet per minute. Despite repeated calls from ATC, no response was received.
